Buddleja auriculata 20LT, commonly known as the Weeping Sage, is a hardy, fast-growing indigenous evergreen shrub or small tree with graceful weeping branches and masses of fragrant creamy-white flowers from winter to spring. Its nectar-rich blooms attract butterflies, bees, and birds, making it a valuable addition to indigenous and wildlife-friendly gardens. Ideal for screening, informal hedges, large gardens, and feature planting, Buddleja auriculata 20LT grows to approximately 3–6m tall and 2–4m wide at maturity.

Type: Evergreen Indigenous Shrub / Small Tree
Sunlight: Thrives in Full Sun to Semi-Shade. Plant in full sun for the best flowering and strongest growth.
Water: Water regularly during establishment. Once established, it is drought tolerant and only requires deep watering during extended dry spells.
Soil: Prefers well-drained soil and adapts to most soil types, including sandy and clay soils. Adding compost at planting will encourage healthy root development.
Frost: Frost Hardy. Tolerates light to moderate frost and performs well in most South African climates.
Maintenance: Prune after flowering to maintain shape and encourage a denser growth habit. Feed with a balanced fertiliser in spring to promote vigorous growth and abundant flowering.
