Description
Berberis atropurpurea ‘Superba’ 10LT is a bold deciduous shrub admired for its deep burgundy-purple foliage, adding year-round contrast and colour to the landscape. In spring, it produces small yellow flowers that are followed by bright red berries in autumn, attracting birds to the garden. Its dense, thorny growth makes it an excellent choice for hedges, borders, feature planting, and security screening. Maintenance: Prune in late winter or after flowering to maintain shape and encourage dense growth. Wear gloves when pruning, as the branches are thorny.
