Description
Begonia Dragon Wings is a vigorous evergreen flowering plant prized for its glossy green foliage and continuous display of large, cascading red or pink flowers from spring through autumn. Its naturally arching growth habit makes it ideal for hanging baskets, patio containers, shaded borders, and mass plantings, adding long-lasting colour to the garden. Type: Evergreen Flowering Perennial
Sunlight: Grows best in Semi-Shade to Bright Indirect Light. It tolerates gentle morning sun but should be protected from harsh afternoon sun, which can scorch the leaves.
Water: Keep the soil evenly moist, allowing the top layer to dry slightly between waterings. Avoid overwatering or allowing the plant to sit in water, as this can cause root rot.
Soil: Prefers fertile, well-drained soil rich in organic matter. A quality potting mix with good drainage is ideal for container-grown plants.
Frost: Frost Sensitive. Protect from frost and cold temperatures, as foliage may be damaged by freezing conditions.
Maintenance: Remove spent flowers and damaged leaves regularly to encourage continuous blooming. Feed with a balanced liquid or slow-release fertiliser every 4–6 weeks during the growing season for the best flower display.
