Description
Anisodontea Classic Cerise 15cm Pot is a fast-growing evergreen shrub known for its masses of vibrant cerise-pink, hibiscus-like flowers. It is ideal for borders, cottage gardens, informal hedges, and containers, where it provides long-lasting colour and attracts bees and butterflies. Growing to approximately 1–1.5m tall and 1–1.2m wide, this low-maintenance plant flowers from spring through autumn, making it an excellent choice for bright, colourful garden displays.
Care Guide
Type: Evergreen Shrub
Sunlight: Full Sun. Plant in at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily for the best flowering performance.
Water: Water regularly during establishment. Once established, water deeply during dry periods, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings.
Spacing: Plant 80cm–1m apart for a full, well-shaped display or informal hedge.
Frost: Light Frost Tolerant. Light frosts are usually tolerated, but heavy frosts may damage the foliage and young stems. Prune away damaged growth once new shoots appear in spring.
Maintenance: Lightly prune after each flowering flush to maintain a compact shape and encourage continuous blooming throughout the season.
