Trojan Ant Bait is a ready-to-use granular insecticide designed to eliminate entire ant colonies by exploiting their social feeding habits. It is particularly effective against common species like Argentine ants, as well as black and brown house ants.
How It Works
The bait uses a delayed-action formula containing the active ingredient Hydramethylnon (12g/kg).
- Foraging and Transfer: Worker ants are attracted to the granules and carry them back to the nest.
- Colony Eradication: Because the poison does not kill immediately, it is shared throughout the colony—including with the queen—via normal food exchange.
- Timeline: You should notice reduced activity and dead ants around nest entrances within 5 to 7 days.
