Description
Gazania White 6 Pack is a colourful, low-growing perennial known for its striking creamy-white flowers with soft yellow tones and contrasting dark markings around the golden centres. The daisy-like blooms open in bright sunlight and create an eye-catching display from spring through the warmer months. Ideal for borders, rock gardens, mass planting, containers, and other hot, sunny areas, Gazania White 6 Pack grows to approximately 15–30cm tall and 20–30cm wide at maturity.
Care Guide
Type: Low-growing evergreen to semi-evergreen flowering perennial with a spreading, ground-covering growth habit.
Sunlight: Plant in full sun for the healthiest growth and best flowering. Choose a position that receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day, as the flowers open in bright sunshine and may remain partly closed during cloudy weather or in too much shade.
Water: Water regularly while the plants are establishing, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings. Once established, Gazanias are drought tolerant and prefer occasional deep watering rather than constantly wet soil. Avoid overwatering, particularly during cool or wet weather.
Soil: Grow in well-drained soil, as Gazanias do not tolerate waterlogged conditions. They perform particularly well in sandy or lighter soils and are a good choice for hot, dry areas where many other flowering plants struggle.
Frost: Light frost tolerant once established. Protect young plants from severe frost, particularly during their first winter, and expect some foliage damage in very cold conditions.
Maintenance: Remove spent flowers regularly to encourage continued blooming and keep the plants looking neat. Trim back untidy or damaged growth when needed and feed lightly during the active growing season to support healthy growth and flowering.
