Tomato 6 Pack contains six young tomato seedlings ready for planting into the vegetable garden, raised beds or large containers. Tomatoes are warm-season plants that grow best in a sunny position and produce best with consistent watering, regular feeding and good support as they mature. An excellent choice for growing fresh tomatoes at home.
Care Guide
- Type: Warm-Season Vegetable
- Sunlight: Full Sun — at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily
- Water: Water deeply and consistently, keeping the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Avoid irregular watering, which can cause fruit problems.
- Soil: Rich, fertile and well-drained soil enriched with compost
- Spacing: Plant approximately 40–60cm apart, depending on the variety
- Frost: Frost Sensitive
- Maintenance: Provide stakes, cages or other support as the plants grow. Feed regularly with a fertiliser suitable for fruiting vegetables and monitor for common pests and diseases.
