Description
Cassinopsis ilicifolia 10LT, commonly known as Bastard Saffron, is an attractive indigenous evergreen tree or large shrub prized for its glossy, holly-like foliage and neat, dense growth habit. Small, creamy-white flowers appear in spring, followed by decorative red to purple berries that attract birds and other wildlife. Its versatility makes it an excellent choice for screening, hedging, indigenous gardens, and feature planting. Cassinopsis ilicifolia typically grows 3–8m tall and 2–5m wide, depending on growing conditions and pruning.
