Description
Canna (Various Colours) 10LT is a bold, tropical-looking perennial loved for its large paddle-shaped foliage and vibrant flowers available in a range of striking colours. Flowering from spring through autumn, Cannas add height, colour, and texture to garden beds, borders, around ponds, and large containers. Fast-growing and easy to care for, they create a dramatic feature in both formal and tropical-inspired landscapes. Mature plants typically reach 1–2m tall and 60cm–1m wide, depending on the variety.

Type: Flowering Perennial
Sunlight: Thrives in Full Sun but will tolerate light Semi-Shade. The best flowering occurs when planted in a sunny position.
Water: Water regularly, especially during hot weather and the growing season. Keep the soil consistently moist but well-drained, avoiding prolonged waterlogging.
Soil: Prefers fertile, well-drained soil enriched with compost or organic matter. Mulching helps retain moisture and encourages healthy growth.
Frost: Frost Sensitive. Foliage may die back after frost, but the underground rhizomes often reshoot in spring in milder climates. Protect plants from severe frost.
Maintenance: Remove spent flowers to encourage continuous blooming and trim away old or damaged foliage as needed. Feed with a balanced fertiliser during spring and summer to promote vigorous growth and abundant flowers.
