Care Guide
Type: Evergreen Indigenous Shrub / Small Tree
Sunlight: Thrives in Full Sun. Plant in a sunny position for the best flowering, compact growth, and vibrant foliage colour.
Water: Water deeply during establishment. Once established, it is drought tolerant and only requires occasional watering during extended dry periods.
Soil: Prefers well-drained soil and adapts to sandy, loamy, rocky, and clay soils. Incorporating compost before planting will encourage healthy root establishment.
Frost: Frost Hardy. Tolerates light to moderate frost and is well suited to most South African climates.
Maintenance: Prune after flowering to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth. Feed with a balanced fertiliser in spring to support healthy growth and abundant flowering.
