Care Guide
Type: Evergreen Indigenous Shrub / Small Tree
Sunlight: Thrives in Full Sun. Plant in a sunny position for the best flowering, stronger growth, and denser foliage.
Water: Water regularly during establishment. Once established, it is drought tolerant and only requires occasional deep watering during prolonged dry periods.
Soil: Prefers well-drained soil and adapts to sandy, loamy, rocky, and clay soils. Incorporate compost before planting to encourage healthy root development.
Frost: Frost Hardy. Tolerates light to moderate frost and is well suited to most South African climates.
Maintenance: Prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth. Feed with a balanced fertiliser in spring to promote healthy foliage and abundant flowering.
