Azalea Bush 40LT is a compact evergreen shrub known for its spectacular display of vibrant trumpet-shaped flowers that cover the plant in spring. Type: Evergreen Shrub
Sunlight: Semi-Shade. Morning sun with afternoon shade encourages the best flowering while protecting the blooms and foliage from harsh heat.
Water: Keep the soil consistently moist, especially during flowering and dry periods. Avoid allowing the soil to dry out completely.
Spacing: Plant 1–1.5m apart to allow each shrub to develop a full, rounded shape.
Frost: Frost Hardy. Established plants tolerate light to moderate frosts well, although flower buds and new growth may be damaged by severe frosts. Mulch around the base to help protect the roots during winter.
Maintenance: Remove spent flowers after blooming and prune lightly if needed to maintain shape. Feed with an acid-loving plant fertiliser in spring for healthy growth and abundant flowering.
