Description
Asplenium Osaka is an attractive fern known for its lush, bright green fronds with distinctive wavy edges, making it a beautiful choice for adding fresh, natural texture to indoor spaces. It works well on shelves, plant stands, windowsills and in indoor plant collections. As a fern, it prefers bright, indirect light, consistently moist soil, warm temperatures and higher humidity. The most important care tip is to keep the soil from drying out completely while ensuring it is never waterlogged.

- Flowers: Does not produce flowers. It is grown for its decorative green fronds.
- Sunlight: Bright, indirect light. Avoid harsh direct sunlight, which can scorch the delicate fronds.
- Water: Water regularly when the surface of the soil begins to feel slightly dry. Keep the soil consistently moist but avoid waterlogging.
- Soil: Use a fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained potting mix with good drainage.
- Temperature: Prefers warm indoor conditions around 18–25°C and should be protected from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.
- Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity. Keep away from heaters and air conditioners, and provide additional humidity during dry periods if needed.
- Maintenance: Remove yellow, brown or damaged fronds at the base to encourage fresh growth. Avoid damaging the central growing point of the plant.
- Feeding: Feed with a balanced liquid houseplant fertiliser every 4–6 weeks during the growing season, using a diluted dose according to the product instructions.
