Description
Alstroemeria (Inca Lily) 10LT is a clump-forming perennial known for its vibrant lily-like flowers in a wide range of colours and long-lasting blooms. It is ideal for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flower gardens, where it provides months of colour and attracts bees and butterflies. Growing to approximately 60–90cm tall and 45–60cm wide, this low-maintenance plant flowers from late spring through autumn and is highly prized for its excellent vase life.

Type: Herbaceous Perennial
Sunlight: Full Sun to Semi-Shade. Flowering is best in full sun, although afternoon shade is beneficial in hotter climates.
Water: Water regularly during establishment. Once established, keep the soil evenly moist, especially during the flowering season, but avoid waterlogging.
Spacing: Plant 45–60cm apart to allow healthy clump development and good air circulation.
Frost: Frost Hardy. The foliage may die back after heavy frosts, but the underground tubers remain dormant and produce fresh growth when temperatures warm in spring.
Maintenance: Remove spent flower stems by gently pulling them from the base rather than cutting them, encouraging more blooms throughout the season.
