Description
Add a touch of striking, prickly texture to your collection with Aloe humilis, commonly known as the Spider Aloe or Hedgehog Aloe. This charming, low-growing succulent forms dense, highly compact rosettes of incurved, blue-green leaves. The surface of each leaf is heavily studded with soft, white, tooth-like bumps, giving it a delightfully spiky, textured appearance. In late winter to spring, it surprises with an oversized display of tall, unbranched stalks holding brilliant, tubular bright-red or orange flowers.
