Alocasia Macrorrhiza 20LT is a striking evergreen tropical perennial known for its enormous, glossy green elephant ear-shaped leaves that create a bold architectural statement. Type: Evergreen Tropical Perennial
Sunlight: Semi-Shade to Full Shade. Morning sun is beneficial, but protect from harsh afternoon sun to prevent leaf scorch.
Water: Keep the soil consistently moist, especially during warm weather. Do not allow the soil to dry out completely, but avoid waterlogged conditions.
Spacing: Plant 1.5–3m apart to allow the large leaves to develop fully and create a bold tropical display.
Frost: Frost Sensitive. Frost can severely damage the foliage and stems. Protect from cold weather, and in colder regions mulch around the base to help protect the rhizomes. New growth may emerge in spring if the underground rhizomes remain undamaged.
Maintenance: Remove old or damaged leaves as needed and feed regularly during the growing season to encourage lush, vigorous growth.
