Description
Abelia Grandiflora Aurea Variegata Standard 10LT is an elegant semi-evergreen standard shrub known for its striking golden-yellow variegated foliage and clusters of fragrant white flowers tinged with soft pink. Its elevated, rounded canopy makes it ideal as a feature plant for entrances, formal gardens, patios, and large containers, where it provides year-round colour and attracts bees and butterflies. Type: Semi-Evergreen Standard Shrub
Sunlight: Full Sun to Semi-Shade. The brightest foliage colour and best flowering are achieved in full sun.
Water: Water regularly during establishment. Once established, water deeply during prolonged dry periods to encourage healthy root growth.
Spacing: Plant 1.5–2m apart to allow the canopy to develop fully and maintain good air circulation.
Frost: Frost Hardy. Established plants tolerate frost well, although severe frosts may damage young shoots or leaf tips. Healthy plants recover quickly with fresh spring growth.
Maintenance: Lightly prune after flowering to maintain the rounded canopy, encourage vibrant new growth, and remove any shoots that develop below the graft.
