Buddleja saligna Standard 10LT, commonly known as the False Olive, is a graceful indigenous evergreen tree trained into a standard form with a neat rounded canopy of silvery grey-green foliage. From spring to early summer, it produces masses of fragrant creamy-white flowers that attract bees, butterflies, and birds, making it a beautiful feature for any garden. Ideal for entrances, patios, driveways, and formal landscapes, Buddleja saligna Standard 10LT grows to approximately 2.5–4m tall and 2–3m wide, depending on pruning.

Type: Evergreen Indigenous Standard Tree
Sunlight: Thrives in Full Sun to Semi-Shade. Plant in full sun for the best flowering, a dense canopy, and healthy growth.
Water: Water deeply once or twice a week while establishing. Once established, it is highly drought tolerant and only requires occasional watering during prolonged dry periods.
Soil: Prefers well-drained soil and adapts to sandy, loamy, rocky, and clay soils. Improve the soil with compost before planting to encourage strong root development.
Frost: Frost Hardy. Established plants tolerate light to moderate frost with minimal damage.
Maintenance: Prune lightly after flowering to maintain the rounded canopy and remove any shoots growing below the graft. Feed with a balanced slow-release fertiliser in spring to encourage vigorous growth and abundant flowering.
