Buddleja saligna 10LT, commonly known as the False Olive, is a fast-growing indigenous evergreen shrub or small tree with graceful grey-green foliage and masses of fragrant creamy-white flowers from spring to early summer. Its nectar-rich blooms attract bees, butterflies, and birds, making it a valuable addition to wildlife-friendly gardens. Ideal for screening, windbreaks, hedging, and indigenous landscapes, Buddleja saligna 10LT grows to approximately 4–10m tall and 3–5m wide at maturity.

Type: Evergreen Indigenous Shrub / Small Tree
Sunlight: Thrives in Full Sun to Semi-Shade. Plant in full sun for the best flowering, denser growth, and stronger branching.
Water: Water regularly during the first growing season to establish a healthy root system. Once established, it is highly drought tolerant and only requires deep watering during extended dry spells.
Soil: Prefers well-drained soil but adapts to sandy, loamy, rocky, and clay soils. Enrich the soil with compost before planting to encourage vigorous growth.
Frost: Frost Hardy. Tolerates light to moderate frost and performs well in most South African climates.
